Mulberry - A delightful wild berry
Raga Svara is home to a large number of gardens, outdoor spaces, fruit orchards, vegetable gardens, and numerous trees. Presently, our campus is filled with summer fruits, including mulberries, chickoo, mangoes, jamun, and Manila tamarind. Our culinary philosophy revolves around wellness, with a core principle being the use of seasonal ingredients as part of our Ritucharya practice.
We have managed to forage lots of mulberries this year at our campus. These wild berries possess a delightful sweetness and are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Additionally, the leaves of the mulberry tree offer numerous health benefits, such as immune system enhancement, relief from coughs, and the regulation of blood sugar, inflammation, and cholesterol levels.
